QRS Music Technologies, Inc. Adds New Touchscreen Remote Capabilities To Its Pianomation® Controllers, Petine™ And Ancho™

Configuration files give customized one-touch access to Pianomation users

NAPLES, FLORIDA, December 1, 2008 – QRS Music Technologies, Inc., a leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of pianos, piano-based audio and multimedia products, music and piano accessories, today announced a upgrade to its Pianomation controllers, Petine and Ancho, with the release of its free configuration files that enables integration of all Pianomation® functions to the Philips Pronto TSU9400 platform, providing customized one-touch remote control.

“The Pronto is the logical one-touch solution for both our dealers and end-users of our products,” said Tom Dolan, president and CEO. “Dealers can do their entire demo of our products easily and flawlessly every time with just the push of a button. End-users can use the Pronto to simplify the control of all their audio-video equipment, not just Pianomation. And, with the Pronto’s WiFi capabilities, virtually anything in the home that has a remote can easily be controlled from anywhere in the home.”

Working with Philips engineers, QRS has integrated its Pianomation database of discrete IR hex codes as a standard item for use by Philips integrators worldwide on any of their remotes. Going one step further, QRS has also created graphics, layouts and custom configuration files for Pianomation players, for the TSU 9400 Pronto.

The upgrade, along with a simple quick guide, also gives direct access to these features from QRS’s existing remote controls for the Petine and Ancho. The downloadable configuration files available for free on the QRS website at www.qrsmusic.com.
