Story & Clark Introduces 7-Foot Grand

SENECA, PENNSYLVANIA -- September 14, 2004 -- QRS Music Technologies, Inc.’s Story & Clark Pianos, founded in 1857 and a trusted American name in pianos, has expanded its famous line by introducing a 7-foot grand piano. They are available in a high-polished ebony finish. This grand piano is the largest instrument in the Story & Clark line.

Ed Keefer, National Sales Manager of QRS Music Technologies, said "With the addition of the 7-foot grand to the Story & Clark line, our dealers will have a piano that they can offer to institutions and retail customers who want a large concert instrument." In addition to its new 7-foot model, the Story & Clark line includes 5-foot, 5-foot/5-inch, and 6-foot grand pianos in a variety of styles and finishes.

Like the other pianos in the Story & Clark line, the new 7-foot grand offers the performance, style and value that have been a hallmark of this brand for a century and a half. Designed in Germany to exacting Story & Clark standards, the new grand piano has a hardwood rim and sand-cast plate for a fuller, richer and smoother tone. Other standout features include a solid spruce soundboard and Delignit pins.

"Our new 7-foot grand offers the kind of quality that you would expect to find in a much more expensive instrument," said Keefer, who describes the new piano as "moderately" priced. "In keeping with the Story & Clark tradition, this piano is a great value, which will make it easier for our dealers to sell through to their customers."
